| Several deputations call on DC Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Aug 2: Several deputations today called on Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan at his office chamber and apprised him about various problems faced by the people living in different parts of the district. The first deputation led by BJYM Youth President Kishtwar Ashish Sharma along with party General Secretary Chuni Lal Shan and senior party leader Rocky Ghoswami comprises of people from Chatroo, Keshwan, Kuntwara and other areas apprised the DC Kishtwar Kishtwar about delay in construction of Keshwan-Srawan road, the work on which is suspended since last nearly one year, beside deputation from Gwari Saroor complaint about non availability of water and continuous absenteeism of PHE employees from duty causes lot of inconvenience to general public, similar complaint was also made by the residents of Washunpatu Dool and Padyarna and demanded immediate arrangements for proper supply of water to the inhabitants of these areas. The deputation of village Sambol of Chatroo complaint about non availability of staff in schools and medical sub centre Sambol. They allege that an official are maintain the stock and attendance registered fraudulently and withdraws the money from government treasury through illegal means. The villagers also complaint about non availability of electricity in the village since last eight months and added that 25 KV transformer installed in the village was shifted to Kishtwar for urgent repairment, but department fails to reinstall it even after eight months. After giving patience hearing to the general public problems, DC Kishtwar issued necessary directions to the concern agencies for immediate redresser of the problems raised by the general public. He assured the deputation of Padder that he will look into the possibility of the suggestion given by them with regard to start of construction of Machail road by setting the disputed area aside. He directed the Tehsildar Headquarter Kishtwar to monitor the progress of the issues raised by the general public and the implementation of the orders and directions passed by him. |
