| NPP castigates intimidatory tactics by Congress | | | Jammu, Aug 2: Castigating the intimidatory tactics adopted by the Congress against the NPP activists, Panthers Party termed it as an outcome of their frustration ahead of Assembly Polls.Anita Thakur General Secretary JKNPP condemned the recent attack on NPP Sarpanch Rajesh Kumar Sharma by the Youth Congress leader R.S Pathania at Majalta of District Udhampur. She said the despite of counter FIRs lodged at Majalta police station, the Congress youth leader again threatened and abused the Sarpanch at GMC, Jammu on the intervening night who had gone to seek treatment for his fractured right hand. She added such violent tactics by the Congress would not discourage the party activists and they shall continue the work selflessly for the people.She disclosed to the media that the FIR has been lodged by the Sarpanch in the police post GMC Jammu against the miscreants. Meanwhile, Young Panthers staged a massive and vociferous protest demonstration at GMC Jammu today which was led by Pushvinder Manhas Sr. Vice-President Young Panthers along with senior leaders and hundreds of Panthers Party activists against the attack on NPP Sarpanch by a Youth Congress leader and raised slogans against the hospital authorities for the lack of security arrangements. |
