Kathua, Aug 3:A lecture competition (symposium) on the topics of Drugs Addiction and Fashion was conducted at Isher ETT College Kathua by Sukrit Trust. According to press release, 18 students from Rajbagh, Sakta Chak, Sawan Chak, and different wards of the town Kathua took part. All the students tried to speak on the topic with the relevant of Gurbani. They gave their message through lecture to the society that we have to keep ourselves away from the drugs addiction. While speaking on the occasion the President of the trust S Parveen Singh said that the main objective of the lecture competition on the topics of Drugs Addiction and Fashion was only to make the awareness among the youths about the lesson of Gurbani and history of Sikhism. In Sikhism we are not allowed to take any type of drugs addiction then why we are taking keen interest in Drug addiction. S Charanjeet Singh President SGPC Kathua said that it is also good way to avoid the drugs by conducting this type of symposium. He thanked the trust and requested to organize such type of symposium in future. Mementos were also given to the speakers who stood 1st and 2nd in the Symposium by S Parveen Singh President of the trust. Those who attended the symposium were S Harpal Singh Rattan, S kuldeep Singh, DFO, Baldev Singh, Navjot Singh, Karnail Singh, Amarjeet Singh, Tarlochan singh, Tript Singh and others. |
