RAMNAGAR, Aug 3: Youth Congress cadres again blocked national highway at Khoon under leadership of Ved Pal, Assembly President Youth Congress, Ramnagar.
A massive protest/procession was taken out through at Khoon Chowk where effigies of JKNPP and MLA Harsh Dev Singh were torched and slogans rented, 'JKNPP Murdabad' and 'MLA Harsh Dev Singh murdabad' charged the atmosphere. The effigy of local MLA was also torched and public anger and resentment was such that it was refusing to die down. The speakers/protestors condemned the attitude and conduct of JKNPP MLA Ramnagar, Harsh Dev Singh whereby he has engineered, planned and conspired a brutal attack on R S Pathania. While condemning in strongest terms and phraseology, the unjustified, unprovoked and uncalled for attack on the peacefully protesting Youth Congress activists in Ramnagar, by hired goons, blue eyed cronies and contractor syndicates of Panthers Party, R S Pathania, P.Y.C. General Secretary, they alleged that local MLA is trying to unleash a virtual 'demoncracy' in Ramnagar. The Youth Congress cadres were further critical of bail-out of hardcore criminals by Majalta Police while non-bailable and trivial offences were registered against culprits who intercepted and assaulted with Pathania with lethal weapons and culprits were bailed out without putting them behind the bars thereby eroding the very edifice and essence of rule of law. |
