| Harassed by police, Haryana youth jumps in front of train | | | | JAMMU, Aug 8 : Harassed by Haryana police, a man jumped in front of moving DMU train to end his life here today. The incident took place at Bajalta when one Tolla Ram (28) son of Raja Ram of village Gur in Haryana, jumped before running train with the intention to end his life, however, he survived as in the incident he only lost his legs. Later police rushed him to the Government Medical College & Hospital (GMC&H) for advanced treatment. Police sources giving information said that the victim told police that his wife was raped in Haryana but police did not lodge FIR in this connection. He told police that harassed by the police, he decided to commit suicide. Meanwhile, treatment of the accused was in progress at GMC&H. |
