Kishtwar, Aug 8: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Party (JKPP) has demanded Women Degree Colleges at District Kishtwar and Degree College in Paddar Tehsil.
In a press statement issued today, state President of (JKPP) Ajeet Bhagat has appealed to the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir state to establish women degree college in District Headquarters Kishtwar and Degree college in Paddar Tehsil. Justifying necessity of the demand, Bhagat said that Students of this area have to come to Kishtwar, Bhaderwah or Jammu for further studies as result of which large number of students give up their studies after passing their 12th class.
He demanded establishment of Degree College at centrally located place at Padder where people form areas like Machail, Ishtiyari, Sohal, Gandhari, Tun, Tyari and other areas of newly created Sub Division could easily come. He said that students of these area can pursue their further studies if college is made available at Padder. |
