| Water logging on NH, College road causing inconvenience | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Aug 8: A portion of National Highway and College road here today submerged in water, following heavy rain fall for few hours in Kathua. Locals expressed resentment against the National Highway Authority, ERA and State government.
The locals alleged that NHA, ERA and state government were failed to provide a quality national highway and college road, which was also exposed by rainfall.
National highway near Kalibari and Hatli Morh was totally blocked and even buses were seen trapped in flood, triggered by rainfall. Jagbir Singh and Harbinder Singh alleged that all water logging was just because of defective designing of the NH and its drainage system, due to which flood water overflowed to roads, making it impossible to pass through it. |
