| Plus 2 lecturers demand regularization | | | Kathua, Aug 8: Plus two lecturers have demanded immediate regularization of incharge Principals and Lecturers.
According to press release, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Amar Nath Thakur. All the participants expressed their views and requested that all the I/c lecturers should be regularized, running grade to the plus two lecturers and non-vocational status to Principals.
Thakur in his address criticized the self-style leaders of the Plus Two cadres of Jammu province who are exploiting the lecturers and no issue of the plus two lecturers is properly taken up with the department.He said that in Kashmir elections for the Plus two Lecturer Forum were conducted in Dec 2013 but in Jammu province no election has been conducted, hence those who consider themselves as Presidents should resign for the cause of lecturers. He said only interests of some lecturers are watched and all other lectursers are exploited for transfers only. He said election should have been conducted in Jammu Province immediately after the retirement of HD Qureshi. The Plus two lecturer forum has become non-functional which is not elected legally and cannot represent the cadre. He appealed to all the plus two lecturers to be aware from such leaders and remain united to get the demands fulfilled. |
