Kissan Sabha holds meeting

Jammu, Oct 5: Kissan Sabha today held meeting here at Billawar town in which they express concern over the loss of farmers due to uncertain weather during this Kharif season.
According to press release, Sabha state president Hari Chand Jalmeria said that in the begning of this year monsoon reached over twenty days late due to which the major Kharif crops of maize and paddy had badly affected.
During the meeting, Jalmeria also discussed about the road connectivity in most of the villages had affected and residents of hilly areas include Sadrota, Macchedi, Lohai Malhar, Baggan, Dhannu Parole, Nazote, Kindli were facing shortage of ration and government has failed to provide relief in said areas. He also submitted a memorandum to the State Government through the SDM Badnota/Billawar.
Raj Kumar, Tara Mani, Mansa Ram, Dhanna Ram, Sarotu Ram, Tara Singh, Bittu Ram, Bhagat Ram and Vijay Kumari were also present on the occasion.
