Srinagar, Oct 5: Jammu and Kashmir government has released an amount of Rs 1150 crore to various treasuries of the state to facilitate general public which have suffered immensely due to recent floods. An official spokesperson here today said that the Director General Accounts & Treasuries has maintained that to facilitate the general public which have suffered due to recent floods, the government has released an amount of Rs 1150 crore during the past three days to various treasuries of the state. He said this amount has been released to clear pending bills/cheques on account of salary, leave salary, pension, flood relief, wages, material/supplies, contractors/firms, TE/OE/POL, CDF, Drug & Diet and payments relating to the FCI. He said that about Rs 87 crore have been paid on account of GP Fund/SLI and payments pertaining to the Corporations, local bodies, universities etc. Besides, Rs 105 crore has also been released under various objects of expenditure like Honorarium, Mid-Day Meal, National Rural Health Mission, RMSA, SSA, MGNREGA, he added. |
