| Aryans Group organizes flood relief camp | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 5: The JK students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today organized flood Relief Camp in Srinagar. These students under the guidance of their Management and Staff organized this special relief camp at Chattabal Bridge in Srinagar to help the flood affected people.
Hundreds of Kashmiri students of Aryans gathered at Chattabal Bridge and distributed the basic amenities like Rice, Pulses, Sugar, Biscuits etc. In an endeavour to provide medical aid to the affected people antiseptics were also distributed by the students. Apart from providing food and antiseptics to the people, the students also guided them to pay more attention to hygiene and sanitation in the water-logged areas to prevent any outbreak of water-borne diseases.
It is to be mentioned her that earlier also on 11 September during those crucial days a team of students and staff of Aryans visited Kashmir, helped in rescuing the people to safer places and distributed flood relief material. Recently, the college also organized a Cultural show in Chandigarh to raise funds for JK flood victims. |
