| UDHAMPUR, Oct 5: Two more bodies, both of women, have been recovered from the landslide-hit Saddal village of Panjar panchayat in Pancheri area of Udhampur. The dead included Pushapa Devi (43), wife of Bran Singh, Bran's mother Khakhru Devi (80) and Lalita Devi (23), daughter of Kapoor Singh. So far, 22 bodies have been recovered from the debris. About 18 persons are still missing. The village was hit by a massive landslide triggered by heavy rains last month. |
