| ReT Forum demands release of pending salary | | | | Jammu, Oct 5: A monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers' Forum today held at Krishna Palace Udhampur under the Chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma and District President, Lekh Raj Parihar. The meeting was attended by District apex body members, zonal body member besides a large number of ReT Teachers from all the eleven Zonals of the District. While speaking on the occasion Vinod Sharma showed resentment against the non-release of pending salary of regularized ReT Teachers under SSA in many district of the State. He said though the government has released a month's salary on Eid but same is not credited into Accounts of these teachers due to holidays before Eid and teachers are suffering lot. He further said that they have appealed the central and State government to release the adequate funds under SSA for the smooth release of salaries of these teachers but still they are waiting for the release of their salaries. He also demanded the release of one year arrear of regularized EVs and release of grants under KGBV scheme for regularized RET Teachers. Lekh Raj Parihar demanded the release of grants and Mid0-day Meals scheme for the proper functioning of MDM. |
