Kishtwar, Oct 5: In a function held here today, senior Congress leaders from Inderwal Ajaz Hussain Sheikh and Atta Mohammad Lone joined BJP. They joined BJP along with their supporters identified as Bashir Ahmed Gujjar, Abdul Majeed Gujjar, Taj Deen Gujjar, Liyaqat Ali Sheikh, Mohammad Iqbal Butt and others in the presence of Sunil Sharma, National Executive Member of BJYM , BJP District President Rajinder Singh, Chuni Lal Shan, District General Secretary, BJP, and Ashish Sharma, District President of BJYM. All the newly joined people were garlanded and welcomed into the party-fold by Sunil Sharma, who in his address said that during the last one year, the BJP family across the country, including in Jammu & Kashmir has been growing fast as Narendra Modi's image and nation-centric policies have changed the mindset of millions of Indians. He said that joining of Ajaz Hussain and Atta Hussain will further strengthen the party at grass route level. He said that the BJP in this border state, where a handful of people are indulging in politics of hatred, will avail the services of new entrants to clear the doubts and false propaganda among the people. Rajinder Singh said that the people of India were fed up with the politics of Congress and self-proclaimed secularists.He said that throughout the length and breadth of the country, the people have realized the real agenda of Congress and its allies, which was anti-people. |
