| JAMMU, Oct 5: A consignment of 40 kg poppy was seized from a truck here and its driver was arrested in this connection, police said today. On a tip off, Police intercepted one truck at Bantalab of Jammu city last evening and upon searching the vehicle, 40 kg poppy straw was recovered from the truck, a police official said. The driven Onkar Singh was arrested for carrying the consignment illegally, police said. A case has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and further investigation is underway. |
