Jammu, Oct 26: Jammu and Kashmir Ex- Services League today observed Martyrdom Day of Brigadier Rajinder singh, MVC "the Saviour of Kashmir" here at Jammu. According to press release, Major General Dushyant Singh, gOC 26 Inf Div, Brig JS Rajpurohit, Dy GOC 26 Inf div, Brigadier RS Langeh, VSM, Director Rajya Sanik Board, Brigadier SS Sambyal, Vice President Ex- Service League Col KS Jamwal, VSM OIC WHO also paied their homage to great Martyr. While paying homage to the savior of the stateJK League Vice President Jamwal said that the people of the state have decided to celebrate this day as accession day to remember him who gave us an opportunity to be part of the largest democracy of the world. Large number of citizens of Jammu including Ex- Servicemen from the villages would also join to pay homage to him. His daughter Urvashi Pathania,grandson Samir Pathania and family were also present on this occasion. |
