Bhaderwah, Oct 26: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged that during the creation of new administration units, the National Conference led coalition government had ignored the areas represented by legislators of opposition parties. Addressing media persons, Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal alleged that when state government declared new administrative units in various parts of the state at that time they ignored those areas which were represented by opposition parties and those areas which always cast their vote against them which also included some areas of Bhaderwah constituency included Athkar , Chinta Bhalra , Bhella , Chilly , Puneja , Kilotran and Seri . He said when winter session of Legislative Assembly held in Jammu, PDP legislators had continuously boycotted the proceedings for three days, demanding creation of administrative units in left out areas of the state and described report of Cabinet Sub-Committee as discriminatory. MLA Bhaderwah, who is a Congress leader had hailed the decision of state government and had been claiming that they got what they were demanding and has also been claiming that he had \fought for the left out areas of Bhaderwah Bhalessa constituency but PDP MLAs/ MLCs and President Mehbooba Mufti demanded justice and equal distribution of the administrative units across state, Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal claimed.
PDP claimed that it was only due to PDP President Mehbooba Mufti that Bhaderwah Bhalessa got more new administrative units and for that he himself submitted a memorandum to her and people were aware of the truth and Congress leaders have been telling a lie to save their skin. Naveen Kumar Koul , Shokat Malik , Thakur Yudvir Singh Baloria , Abdul Hafeez Wani , Chaman Lal Gupta , Dimple Kotwal , Rajinder Manhas , Pervaiz Ahmed Shapoo , Abdul Quyoom Shenali , Abdul Hamid Ganai , Indress Malik , Darshan Kumar , Dleep Kumar Bhagat , Kewal Krishan KOtwal and others were also present on the occasion . |
