Deny for bribe Food Inspector thrashes restaurant owner 10/27/2014 12:07:35 AM Arun Trisal Kathua, Oct 26 : An owner of Restaurant was thrashed in Kathua town by Food Inspector of Municipal Subash Raina for not paying bribe. The incident came to light when Food Inspector of Municipal Council Kathua Subash Raina reached at a restaurant running alongside college road opposite Government Degree College Kathua and demanded bribe as cash from the owner Aman Gupta, who straight forwardly denied to give bribe. Angry over protest by the restaurant owner, the Food Inspector misusing his power threatened the owner to face the consequences if he would not be given the bribe and also held a minor scuffling with the waiter of restaurant Kewal Krishan. The incident has put serious question over the functioning of the civic body in the town.
