Jammu, Oct 26: Demanding relief for 1984 victims, Gurdyal Singh Bali today sit on hunger strike here at infront of press club Jammu. According to press release, Bali said that Justice is not only being delayed, but denied by the Congress leaders including those whose job was to protect the interests of the minorities. As we all know great leaders of Congress, Sajjan Kumar, Jagdish Titler, HKL Bhagat, Kamal Nath and others, have done the Sikh massacre. The sikh community has been brutely crushed by that time rulling government. But we have proud that now our rulling party has helped us, a changing of government cannot do the justice, Sikh Genocide has happended on November 1 was approaching once again. Bali further said that even after more than 30 years, victims of the 1984 riots have been fighting a long battle for justice. The constitution of India has laid stress on equality for every citizen law but the same was not being honoured. He alleged that the congress leaders like Sajjan Kumar were being shielded by government agencies. We request our Prime minister Narinder Modi to seek his intervention to ensure a fair trial and punishment for the accused. They appealed to government of India to do Justice with the 1984 victims. |
