AINHPC workers organizes mass rally against dilution of labour laws | | | Early Times Report
Reasi, Nov 3 : A mass rally of about thousand people was arranged by All India NHPC Workers & Employees Federation at Reasi organised by Munshi Ram Salailia, General Secretary Federation India.The rally was also adored with the presence of participants from all over India. R.C. Kunitia President All India NHPC Workers & Employees Federation, Secretary AICC (I) and Ex-Member of Parliament who attended such event first time in our state, is the chairperson of the rally. The rally was started from Ashok Thapa Chowk moving through the main bazaar of Reasi with banners, slogans depicting demands & issues like "Stop dilution of labour laws", "Service of contractual workers/employees be regularised", "Social security for unorganised workers", "Anganwari workers be regularised", "Stop exploitation of migrant labour", "All workers be given permanent EPF account numbers", "Daily wagers in J&K state be regularised immediately" etc. The rally re- assembled and reached at Garden estate where the leaders of the trade unions from different parts of the country addressed the gathering with a brief on demands & issues of workers in the state as well as in the country. Munishi Ram Salalia while addressing the gathering strongly condemned the move of the central government for proposing amendments in the existing labour laws to benefit the Corporate houses of country as well as broad by implementing the FDI in various sector of India. By doing such act the government will ultimately snatch the right of the work force of state & India. He demanded that Jammu & Kashmir govt. should regularise the services of all daily wagers, Anganwari workers and Contractual workers without any further delay. Apart from these voice of heavy assemblage apprise the Chief Guest R.C.Kuntia that public of Reasi direly require the active participation of M.R.Salalia in state politics as he is serving the INTUC & Federation supported by the main party of the country Congress from last 40 years. |
