"The address for personal submission of forms on the advertisement notice is mentioned as Director Khadi and Village Development Council of India, 23/B Basant Vihar, Akhnoor Road, Talab Tillo Jammu, 180002, but when I personally visited the office, the owner of house scolded me and turned me out rudely", Chouhan said. Apprehending that it could be a fake advertisement, he went to the Bank for cancellation of Bank draft. Another youth, Ashutosh said that when they asked the bank officials to cancel the draft, they refused and asked to contact head office. "We realized that it is a fraud but the kingpin will easily get the payment already made on name of KAVHD", they said, adding that if action would not be taken, the culprit would go scot free. "After questioning the Photostat shop owners, the police can crack the entire case", he said, adding that some black-sheep in watchdog agencies, might be involved in the fraud. Chief Executive Officer of Jammu and Kashmir Khadi Village Industry Board, Mir Afroz said that it might be a fraud and there was no such organization in Jammu and Kashmir. He further said that it might be an NGO, which were not associated with the Board. KVIC Director Vijay Kumar Bagul said that no such advertisement has been made by KVIC. "If KVIC invites application for any posts, the advertisement notice is published in "Employment News" and on its official website", he said, adding that it might be a fraud. |
