Jammu, Nov 3: The residents of Shankar Vihar, Talab Tillo, Jammu today constituted a body under the titled "Shanker Vihar Welfare Committee" (SVWC) to get accelerated the welfare activities and to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants in a meeting held here today.
A large number of inhabitants of the colony participated in the meeting elected Executive body. Besides, the residents also nominated working members of the welfare committee comprising of Senior Advisory Committee & Working Committee respectively.
In executive committee Dr. S.K. Sharma was elected as Chairman, Er BL Rawal as Vice Chairman, DN Raina as President, ML Khosa as Senior Vice-President, SC Gupta as Senior Vice-President, Ashok Sharma as Vice-President, RK Ahluwalia as General Secretary, Tilak Raj as Secretary, Shashi Sharma as Organising Secretary, Naveen Kapoor as Publicty Secretary & Mukesh Khanna as Treasurer.
Those who were elected in Senior Advisory Committee included Ashok Kumar Pargotra, Prof. M.K. Dhar, Vir Uma Shanker Sharma, Maharaj Krishan Pandita, K.K. Bhatt, Rajesh Angurana, Kuldeep Raj Sharma, Ramesh Khar, Sunil Khar, Ramesh Kumar Sharma, Dwarka Nath.
