Gurmat Smagum held

Jammu, Nov 3: On the occasion of 23 anniversary of Mahat Bachiter Singh, a Gurmat Smagum was held at Digiana Ashram Jammu.
According to press release, in respect Sri Akhand Path Sahib were solemnized on November 1, after the Akhand Path Sahib Bhog Smagum was held in the open premise of Digiana Ashram from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. under the supervision of Mahant Manjit Singh Ji of Shero Mani Dera Nagali Sahib Poonch.
The Sikh Sangat from many parts of State participated in the religious congregation. The Ragies religious preachers and leaders of various social and political organizations participated and paid tribute to holy soul Bhai Amarjit Singh Ragi of Patiala was specially invited.
Addressing the gathering Raman Bhalla Minister for Housing Horticulture and Sports highly appreciated Mahant Manjit Singh Ji for their role in the service of humanity and in every field of life. He said that refugee package is passed in the cabinet with the efforts of Mahant Manjit Singh Ji.
S.Avtar Singh Khalsa General Secretary Sikh United Front, Jammu strongly criticized for not conducting Gurudwara Election J&K State in the stipulated time period and criticized that a non Sikh (Divisional Commissioner Jammu) is running DGPC Jammu affairs with cooperation of some anti panthic people.
Funds of the Gurudwara are being misused.
Those J&K who participated in the function were Indira Bhalla, S.Mohinder Singh, S.Kulwant Singh, S.Harmohinder Singh (CPO), S.Surinder Singh (Kala), S.Paramjit Singh, S.Gajan Singh, S.Manmohan Singh, S.Ramnik Singh Bijral, S.Surinder Singh (Bunty), S.Kapur Singh Dutta, S.Rajinder Singh, S.Kultar Singh, S.Tej Pal Singh, S.Amrik Singh Reen, S.Harpal Singh Prince and others.
