11/3/2014 11:38:43 PM
Jammu, Nov 3 : In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Viklang Chattra Trust through its organizer Satya Pal Saraf regarding better care of old age home, a high court division bench of Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat granted four weeks time to comply with the court direction about the identification of land measuring about 16 kanals to construct composite home at R S Pura and Samboora, Pampore. When the PIL came up for hearing, the bench observed that pursuant to the order dated August 7, 2014, the Divisional Commissioners of J&K were directed to identify the land measuring about 16 kanals to construct composite homes both for Jammu and Kashmir divisions. Upon this, senior AAG Gagan Basotra sought time to do the needful. The bench, after hearing the two sides, granted four weeks time to comply with the court direction regarding identification of land for construction of old age homes in Jammu as well as in Kashmir.
