| Motorcyclist dies in road mishap, unknown found dead | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 2: A 17 year-old teen was killed when the motorcycle he was riding on skidded off the road at Gho Manhasa area late last night, police sources said. Meanwhile, an unidentified beggar was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Main stop Gandhi Nagar, last night.
Police sources said, "The deceased has been identified as Sunil Kumar s/o Ram Dass of Gho Manhasa."
Sources said that the teen while driving the vehicle lost control over the motorcycle following which the vehicle skidded off the road resulting fatal head injuries to him.
"The injured teen was later shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where during treatment he succumbed to his fatal injuries," police sources added.
On Monday morning after postpartum and other legal formalities, the body was handed over to family member for last rites.
Meanwhile, an unidentified beggar was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Main stop Gandhi Nagar, Last night.
"Some passersby noticed a beggar lying unconscious on the roadside accordingly reported matter to police, following which police team reached the spot and shifted him to GMC&H where he was declared as brought. Later, the body was shifted to the mortuary for legal formalities. |
