JAMMU, Dec 2: The government today ordered the transfers and postings of 16 block development officers (BDOs) who were posted in their home districts, following a CEO (chief electoral officer) nod in this connection.
While Ranjit Singh is transferred from Marh to Billawar, Dr Neha Sharma is transferred from Kharah Baili, Akhnoor, to Dinga Amb, Kathua.
Rita Rani is transferred from Ghordi to Mandli, Susheel Kumar from Arnia to Khoon, Bodh Raj from Mandal Phalain to Pani Dhar, Nazia from Miran Sahib to Jaganoo, Rafiq Ahmad from Rajouri to Mendhar, Narinder Kumar from Thanamandi, Rajouri, to Poonch, Sham Lal from Chanuta to Nagri, Kathua, Sunil Sharma from Billawar to Marh, Girdhari Lal from Mandli, Kathua, to Gordi, Surinder Kumar from Gujroo Nagrota to Bhamag, Reasi, Ram Dayal from Dinga Amb to Kharah Bali, Mukhtar Ahmad from Poonch to Thanamandi, Shakeel Ahmad from Mendhar, Poonch, to Rajouri, and Abid Hussain from Mandi, Poonch, to Dhangri, Rajouri.
Official sources said some police and civil officers, who were posted in their home districts, were also likely to be transferred to other districts before the third phase of polls in the state. |
