| Waffa files nomination papers from Nagrota | | |  Early Times Report
NAGROTA, Dec 2: State Secretary J&K People's Democratic Party (PDP) and contesting candidate from Nagrota Constituency, Choudhary Hussain Ali Waffa on Tuesday filed his nomination papers for the fifth phase of State Assembly elections.
Waffa filed his nomination papers before the Returning Officer of Nagrota Assembly segment.
Senior party leaders, workers and thousands of supporters of Waffa gathered at the PDP office Sidhra from where a massive rally has been taken out amidst slogans in favour of party and its contesting candidate.
While addressing the gathering, Waffa said that his party has always been in the front foot to redress the grievances of the people.
The people of J&K never forget the golden regime of Mufti Mohammad's government during which massive development had been taken place besides various policies and schemes were launched for the welfare of the people of the state, he added.
Terming Mufti as a visionary leader, Waffa called upon the people to strengthen hands of PDP Patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to change destiny of the residents of Jammu and Kashmir and hoped that the party would next government in the State because the people have faith on the policies and programmes of the party.
Waffa appealed to the voters to ensure the victory of PDP in the assembly elections so that a comprehensive development policy would be launched for the welfare of Nagrota constituency. |
