International exhibition of paintings, prints organized | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 16: An international exhibition of paintings and prints titled global relations has been organized by Indian Trans Art Group in collaboration with Kala Kendra Jammu where artists from Australia, Pakistan and India are participating. The exhibition was inaugurated by Soujanya Sharma, Secretary Kala Kendra, Jammu with the presence of Padmashree Rajindra Tiku (Sculptor) Lalit Gupta (Art Critic) and Jung Burman (senior artist & column writter on Art and cuture ). A large number of artist intellectual and writter were present on the occasion. The participating Austraian artists include Paul Eves ( Printmaker) work title: "Vinyl traces working". His work depicts the importance of scratched surfaces representing the human life. Jessica Grace (Printmaker) work title: "Boundaries of Moonera- I.depicts that everything has a limit like the meeting of the sea and sky. Jeremy Plint (Painter) work title: "To Begin Again" artist is working on the theme of The Dark Art of Alchemy. The artist from Pakistan included Iram Wani (Printmaker). Her work states that (In Chaos I found Relief). In her work she has depicted the role of women both as an individual and as a part of society. Indian segment of exhibition includes Jammu based artists Lovesh Sharma (Printmaker) His work title: "Fantasy 1". depicts the happening of society in present times. Parveen Kumar (Printmaker) work titled: "Affection". |
