BJP high-command snubs J&K spokespersons for irresponsible utterance | | |
Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 16: BJP high-command has taken serious note irresponsible utterance being made by scores of BJP leaders who have been elevated as spokespersons by the state leadership before assembly polls. Credible sources in the BJP said that national president of party Amit Shah has reportedly taken state leadership to task for giving free hand to so-called spokespersons who availed every opportunity to react on national and international issues. This herd of spokespersons of BJP was very particular about reacting to the statements given by Congress leaders at national level. Some spokespersons who are novice in the politics have reacted to the statements of Congress national leadership despite the fact that it is job of the central leadership of the BJP to react. Credible sources said that BJP high command was annoyed over the way how these spokespersons were reacting over formation of government in the State. National leadership of the BJP was giving very guarded statement on formation of government in Jammu and Kashmir but spokespersons of J&K BJP were not controlling themselves while giving any statement. "It was all due to the irresponsible utterance of some of the spokespersons that dialogue for the formation of government was stalled", sources said and added that national leadership of the party has given strict directions to the state leadership that no local leader would speak on formation of government or any other issue. It was all due to strict directions from the high command that these spokespersons have to maintain silence. |
