Vakil briefs Sonia on current socio political situation in J&K 1/16/2015 10:42:30 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 16 : Former Minister and member of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Abdul Gani Vakil today met Congress president Sonia Gandhi and briefed her about current socio political situation in Jammu and Kashmir. He apprised her in detail on organizational matters and party performance in recently held assembly elections. Vakil put forth before Congress President some important suggestions for strengthening and rejuvenating the party in the state. Sonia Gandhi endorsed the view point put forward by Vakil and reiterated her resolve that the Congress would continue to remain in the service of the people of Jammu and Kashmir to promote their overall development, peace and progress.
