Jammu, Jan 16 : Department of Horticulture Jammu in collaboration of department of Agriculture today organized two day training programme on Organic Farming. According to press release, Director Horticulture Jammu Anil Kumar Sharma, inaugurated the training programme in presence of the experts from SKUAST-J. The programme was attended by the officers of the department from Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban and Udhampur districts. The visiting expert had threadbare discussions with the participants regarding organic farming principles and practices.
Sanjiv Kumar Ingle, Junior Scientific Officer, Government of India at Regional Centre of Organic farming, Kissan Bhawan, Panchkula, Haryana was the resource person. |
