Early Times Report Kishtwar, Jan 16: The State Forest Corporation (SFC) today demanded immediate merger of the State Forest Corporation with Forest Department in a meeting of SFC Employees Union Chenab Valley Kishtwar chaired by its President M A Siddiqui. During the course of the joint meeting attended by the employees of SFC Division East and West of Kishtwar District, the various issues confronting the SFC employees were discussed at length. It was unanimously decided that the union will take up all the issues with concerned authorities which include the issue of merging of SFC in Forest department, pensioner benefits, release of D.A arrears of 6th Pay Commission, implementation of SRO-14 (time Bound Promotion), removal of stagnation in all cadres of SFC employees, update of seniority list of all cadres of SFC employees and early conduction of DPC. The association has also decided to take up the core issues for final settlement in honorable Supreme Court of India.
