Udhampur, Feb 4: To commemorate the birthday of Arun Kumar Gupta, a well known social worker Jai Durga Amba Charitable Trust (JDCT) organized a free eye camp today at Udhampur. The camp was jointly organized by Dr Sumeet Gupta and Dr Anjana Bhalwal trustees of Jai Durga Amba charitable trust in collaboration with Dr R D Sood from Sood Eye Center Jammu, spokesperson of trust said here today. Spokesperson said the free eye camp was inaugurated by Smt Santosh Devi w/o late Sh Om Kant Gupta in presence of large number of visitors and locals from the area. "During the camp the patients examined were also provided free medicines and useful tips to take care of eyes, he said and added that the patients identified for eye surgery were asked to get free operations on Feb 11, Feb 13, Feb 14 and Feb 16 at Sood Eye Center Jammu. |
