Jammu, Feb 4 : Officers and Jawans of General Railway Police (GRP) of Railway Sub Division Udhampur today accorded a Warm sendoff to outgoing SSP of Railways AK Mahajan by GRP during a farewell function at Railway Station Udhampur which was attended by Kamlesh Shoor SDPO, Surjeet Kumar SHO GRP Udhampur, Shahzad Khan SHO GRP Katra, Deepak Tufchi SHO GRP Manwal, Incharge Police posts Ramnagar, Sangar all officers & Jawans of GRP, officers of District Police, officers of Northern Railways.
The Speakers lauded the contribution of AK Mahajan SSP for Railways Katra for maintaining proper liaison and follow up with different departments and wings of Railways to raise the infrastructure and establish Railways Katra including Railway Sub Division Udhampur, particularly in getting their problems mitigated including ladies frisking cabins, concrete duty huts and sentry posts at bridges and tunnels all along the Railway Track. They wished him success for new assignment.
Earlier on February, 02 Mahajan was accorded a warm sendoff by GRP, Railway and other civil officers of Katra as the SSP Commanded great respect amongst all. SSP AK Mahajan thanked the organizers and those attending for such a warmth and love shown by them wished that they shall be extending similar cooperation to his successor. |
