poonch, Feb 10: Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India organised a day-long special outreach programme Government (SOP) Girl Higher Secondary School Poonch on Tuesday.
According to press release, the objective of the event was to highlight nationwide schemes launched by Central Government namely including Pardhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojna, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao Abhiyan and other people friendly schemes.
Principal GHSS Poonch, Raiz Mir was chief guest on the occasion while
Kuldeep Kumar from J&K Bank, Poonch and Tajunisa Kazmi, APO, ICDS, Poonch were the resource persons who delivered lectures informing the audience about these nationwide schemes.
Earlier, Vishal Khajuria, in-charge Field Publicity Unit, Poonch briefed the gathering about the aims and objectives of these national programmes and urged people to avail maximum benefits from such schemes. A quiz competition was also organized to make people aware about these schemes.
To aware the masses about centre-sponsored schemes a rally by the students of GHSS Poonch was taken. The programme concluded with a prize distribution function and a rally of students. |
