Jammu, Feb 10: 35th National Games were held in Kerala. Several boxers from Jammu and Kashmir participated in the games brought laurels to state. Boxers of state entered in the next stage after showing their performance. In girls' category, Anju Bala emerged victorious by beating Gayatri Devi of Orissa in 60 kg category.
In boy's category, Dheeraj emerged victorious beating Manjeet Singh (SSCB) in 60 kg category and Ashish Jastoria lost to J/S Jora of Uttarakhand in 69 kg category. President Boxing Association, General Secretary Ashutosh Sharma, Rangeel Singh Ex-education Minister and President Olympic association J&K, Abdul Majeed Kara, Member of Parliament, Anil Kumar Wadera, General Secretary boxing association congratulated all boxers for their outstanding performance in the National games held in Kerala. |
