Jammu, Feb 10: JKPDD Employees Forum staged protest demonstration against the wrong policy of the government unbundled or restructuring of JKPDD into campaigns.
Addressing the gathering, they alleged that state government was responsible for the present mess and scenario in the power sector and these things have been borne by the controlling agencies as well as ruling authorities.
"All PDD employees and workers with their hard struggle to build up all along infrastructure of the department on its dedicated efforts and electrified the state 100 percent," they stated.
They further said that despite of giving incentives to its employees, the government has decided by adopting such policies to destroy the career of the employees. PDD employees and workers have scarified their lives for the betterment of the department and in response to that the government is going to ruin the families of PDD employees by launching companies in the state just to favour the blue eyed capitalist.
They appealed the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to intervene personally in the matter and revoke the cabinet order of 2012 of unwanted unbundling of PDD into companies in the state. They also gave ultimatum to the government to withdraw the cabinet order within 15 days, otherwise government get itself ready to face state wide agitation programme.
