Jammu, Feb 10: All Jammu and Kashmir Oil Tanker Drivers and Cleaners Union (JKOTDCU) urged the Labour Commissioner, Labour Department of the State Government to issue directions to then president, general secretary to hand over all the records including cash.
Addressing the media persons, president of union, Khair-ul-Wani alleged that despite repeated requests by new elected body as well as labour department, the old body head by ex-president Ranjeet Singh, general secretary Davinder Singh and ex-cashier Surinder Singh have neither handed over the previous records including account book, cash of the union 18 years to them.
He further said that union passed a resolution unanimously in accordance with the provisions of the constitution of the union and expelled Ranjit Singh, Davinder Singh and Surinder Singh from the basis membership of the union.
While, Ranjit Singh Billa and Rajive Singh, have been appointed as joint secretary and press secretary of the union.
Among others who were present on the occasions included Joginder Singh, Surinder Singh, Shammi Kapoor, and Kulwant Singh and others. |
