Poonch, Feb 10 : Pakistani residents, arriving in Jammu and Kashmir by bus, lauded Indian government for giving speedy clearances to the service between the two nations. People coming from Pakistan to India said they are happy as the latter provided clearances to the bus services in a swift manner."It's because of Indian government that I could meet my relative after 63 years," a Pakistani resident in Jammu said. Another resident of Pakistan, Nazam Abdul, said she would love to visit India again. The bus service between Rawalakot and Poonch district was first launched in 2005 to facilitate relations between the two nations but later it was suspended at several occasions owing to tensions along International Border in Jammu. The Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service, however, was on Monday suspended by authorities in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir over the arrest of a driver from the other side of the LoC following recovery of narcotics from his vehicle. |
