Samba, Feb 10: Government Ayurvedic Dispensary in collaboration with Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation organized a free medical camp today for the inmates of Sri Raghunath SanskritVidialya Residential school Birpur, Samba district.
The occasion was observed to mark National Deworming Day
While inaugurating the camp Bansi lal principal of Vidialya said that Govt Ayurvedic dispensary Birpur is doing herculean task to provide health services to the people of area not only in respect of Medical help but also creating awareness among the people about healthy living.
Dr. Taran Singh Medical Officer while speaking on the occasion stressed upon the resident students to make hygienic and cleanliness a habit so that everyone remain healthy because only healthy youth can become the strength of the nation.
He thanked Dr. Ab. Kabir Dar Director General ISM&H, J&K and Dr. Saroj Sharma Nodal Officer Samba for his support for organizing this camp.
All the resident students were examined and provided free medicine on the occasion specially Krimihar Ayurvedic medicines for deworming and iron preparations.
Dr. Taran singh and Girdhari lal pharmacist extended their services during the camp. |
