5 injured in separate road mishaps | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 10: Atleast five persons were injuries in separate road mishaps which reportedly occurred across the Jammu region here today, police sources said. Respective cases stand registerted at concerned police stations in these regards. Police sources said that three persons received injuries when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with a car at Sidhra area and injured identified as Ravinder Kumar son of ChamanLal of RS PuraVipan Kumar son of BUaDitta and Narayan Sharma son of Sai Dass Sharma both residents of Bari Brahmana are undergoing medical treatment at Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu. Police said that the trio was riding a motorcycle and when they reached near Sidhra, their motorcycle had a collision with a car resulting injuries to the trio. Police have registered a case and started investigation in this regard. Meanwhile, two pedestrian including a woman sustained injuries when an over-speeding scooty hit them in Mendhar of Poonch. Police sources said that an over speeding scooty hit two pedestrians in Mendhar Market near Government Higher Secondary School resulting injuries to 16 year-old Sugam Bali, son of SubashChander, a resident of Mendhar and 30 year-old ShaheenAkhter, wife of Mohammad Taj, a resident of Sagra. "The injured were immediately shifted to SDH Mendhar from where doctors referred them to district hospital for advanced treatment. A case in this connection was registered and further investigation is on. |
