Jammu, Feb 27: Senior leader of the Peoples Democratic Party Peerzada Mansoor on Tuesday alleged that all the previous regimes were involved in backdoor appointments.
"Hum Gade Murde Hi Ukhadte Rahenge, Hume Koi Aur Kam Nahi Hai Kya", Peerzada Mansoor said, while responding to a counter-question posed before him regarding his claims of all previous appointments in through backdoor.
Mansoor was addressing media persons in the civil secretariat on Monday evening, to clear his position over allegations and counter allegations over the recent controversy over the appointment of a politician's son.
Seemingly nervous over the allegations, he tried to pitch the candidate of Jammu and Ladakh to diffuse the allegations of corruption in the selection process.
Taking the name of a candidate from Jammu, who has topped in two posts and a candidate from Ladakh region, who was claimed to be the daughter of a lineman, he asked all the media persons to visit the houses of all these selected candidates to enquire if they had any relation to any politician.
He claimed that for the first time in the history the selections for various posts have been done in a transparent manner under the monitoring of the Law Secretary, who was appointed as Controller Examination. |
