Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Mar 7: The fastback recruitment slogans of BJP-PDP government headed by the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti seems to have hit a road blockade and same could be gauged from the fact that despite the lapse of four months since the Assistant Commissioner Development Kupwara issued list of 60 candidates for filling up the 12 posts of Technical Assistant in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, the interviews have not been conducted.
As per the details available with "Early Times" ACD Kupwara vide advertisement No. 01 ACDK of 2017 Dated 2-08-2017 advertised 12 posts of Technical Assistant under centrally sponsored flagship scheme MGNREGA and accordingly, out of around 200 candidates who applied for these advertised posts, 60 candidates were short listed on 9-11-2017 by District Program Coordinator (ACD) Kupwara, but despite the lapse of several months, no formal interview were conducted to finalized the selection list.
The job aspirants told the "Early Times" that they were running from pillar to post since last three months for persuading the officials at the helm of the affairs to conduct the interview of the shortlisted candidates but to no avail.
"When we approach ACD Kupwara, he categorically told us to approach the RDD Minister Abdul Haq Khan" they said.
Despite repeated attempts, ACD Kupwara Yar Ali Khan was not available for comment, however DC Kupwaara Khalid Jahinger assured that he will look into the matter and will inquire the same from ACD concerned.
