3/7/2018 11:43:24 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 7: Although Vigilance Organization today booked Assistant General Manager, JAKFED and others, for indulging in corrupt and dubious activities, it a yet a tip of ice-berg many big shark are yet to be identified.
Politicians irrespective of their party affiliations always mint money from JAKFED, which is den of the corruption, with one way or other. Whenever issue of corruption was raised, only cosmetic exercise was conducted to befool the people and to protect those officers who are blue-eyed boys of the politicians.
A House Committee was constituted by the Legislative Council which had detected huge irregularities in JAKFED but present government has failed to implement recommendations of that panel. It is widely alleged that politicians, irrespective of their party affiliations, are protecting corrupt officers of the JAKFED for their petty personal interests.
Meanwhile Vigilace Organization, Jammu today conducted a checking on the basis of a source report that Mukesh Damral of Nowshera, Rajouri presently working as Deputy General Manager, JAKFED, has been managing the affairs of JAKFED in such a manner only to have pecuniary advantages and benefits for himself and his family and has amassed huge wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income and has created a huge liability, running in crores in the JAKFED on account of different payments.
During the course of checking and on scrutiny of records, it surfaced that the accused Mukesh Damral, in league with other officers/officials of JAKFED, had invited tenders during the years 2013-2017 carrying vague terms and conditions to accommodate his blue eyed firms including the fake firms established by him in the name of his close relatives/ friends which were actually run by him by proxy, with the objective to obtain huge pecuniary benefits with dishonest intention, illegally and fraudulently.
