| Manohar lamented coalition Govt on mishandling situation in Hiranagar | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 8: Dr Manohar lal Sharma Former Minister and District President Subhash Gupta today issued a joint statement regarding the situation emerged at Chadwal and other surrounding areas of National Highway after excessive force used on the agitating local people of Hiranagar in demand of high level specialised inquiry in Asifa murder case. They condemned the lathicharge on agitating people at Chadwal in which one person was injured, thereby raising further apprehension of already tense situation in the area.
Dr. Sharma strongly lamented on the BJP PDP state Govt. which is completely responsible for this mess due to mishandling of situation in the area, following the incidence. He stressed that an impartial high level prove should be initiated at the earliest without further delay to restore the faith of common man in the law of land.
Dr Sharma termed it unfortunate that the state BJP PDP Govt has failed to prevent such incidence at the first and later failed to restore the confidence of common man in the Justice. He further said that It is prime duty of every Govt to ensure the safety of citizens and to make sure that the rule of law must prevail in the state. |
