Early Times Report

BARAMULLA, Mar 8: Despite making tall claims that the government will uplift the poor of the society and polish their talent, but fact most youth of Kashmir are still waiting for their dreams to come true.
In Kashmir valley, where everyone is bound by limits, where youth seldom get the desired exposure, few youngsters are seen carving a place at the international arena.
But support from government machinery only could help them in achieving their goals.
Recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a huge gathering said that education would be given more attention and every type of facilities will be provided to the talented youth, but in Kashmir neither the state government not the central government is seen providing a helping hand to the youngsters who want to achieve name and fame by depicting their talent.
In northern region of Kashmir two brothers who already have made their presence felt at District level with their achievements are lacking basic facilities.
Adnan Farooq 15, a 9th class student and his sister Towkir ul Nissa 16, a 10th class student have won hearts of many people with their continue success in Sports (Pencak _Silat, Tang ta) Karate at District levels. But belonging to a poor family, they are not able to do more with their talent.
Hailing from Malpora Dangerpora in Sheeri area of North Kashmir's Baramulla district, both the siblings are awaiting government help in order to represent the state at a national and international level.
Both the siblings after performing well at District level recently represented the state in Mumbai and Agra and received grand success, said a relative of the siblings.
He told early times that after their success at Mumbai and Agra, they got an opportunity to represent India at international level in Thailand but due to the financial crisis their dreams crashed mid way.
After strenuous efforts, the siblings with their family met MLA Baramulla and requested for financial support for making their dream true.
MLA Baramulla Javeed Hassan Beigh after appreciating both the talented youngsters for doing well in sports, he said that all possible support will be provided to the siblings, so that they can be a role model for other youngsters and represent the country at International level.
