Udhampur, May 12: Working of Power Development Department (PDD) in village Damak, Ramnagar can be better judged from the tilted electric pole which poses grave threat to the lives of locals.
Locals informed that they repeatedly brought the matter into the notice of concerned lineman Govind Ram and also informed the senior officials but they paid no heed and nothing was done to fix the pole properly. They also informed that If it falls then the house of Suram Chand a local, will suffer maximum damage as power cables connected to this pole directly pass over his roof.
The locals have warned of action incase the pole was not fixed properly. |
