5/13/2018 10:57:47 PM

Early Times Report
POONCH, May 13: An eighty seven year old living in Harmulta village on the banks of Darni river for the last 36 years along with his wife and cattle has urged the district administration to allot a piece of land with a room constructed in the village.
Sain Kutab Diina S/o Lt Sain Meera originally resident of Bamtichain in Poonch had migrated to Harmulla village in Mendhar way back in 1965 followed by the India-Pak war in which he lost his house and other property. Though he approached the concerned authorities for compensation his pleas was ignored.
The living condition of the couple is very pathetic and it is said that some police official had provided him a tent to live in which has now torn off. The couple has no clothes, utensils or any other thing other than the clothes they are wearing.
The people living in surrounding areas provide the couple some food and clothes occasionally yet the couple need a shelter and medicines on priority.
