Unidentified youth pelt stones on government forces at Sopore

BARAMULLA (Sopore), May 13: CRPF personnel received injuries when a group of youth attacked on deployed government forces at main Chowk Sopore in this north Kashmir Baramulla District on Sunday.
According to reports that at around 2:30 p.m on Sunday a group of masked youth hurled rocks on a CRPF party deployed at main Chowk Sopore.
The two CRPF personnel suffered injuries after hit by stones during clashes near Main Bazar Sopore, reports added.
The two paramilitary personnel were injured due to stone pelting and he identified them as Constable Padala Ramu of 179 bn and ASI Ganga Dhar of 177 bn.
"28 years old Constable Padala Ramu, Service no. 095140637 of 179 CRPF BN sustained head injury, said reports.
The injured CRPF constable was shifted to 92 base army hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment.
However sources said that police has lodged FIR against unidentified stone pelters at Police station Sopore.
The overall situation was normal in the town as there was no stone pelting incident or any other sort of disturbances in the town, said sources. They said that, there are always some miscreants who want to crate disturbances, but the situation was very peaceful in the town.
