JAMMU, Nov 23: Continuing its campaign "Yuva Sena", the team of Young Panthers today reached at Ghari Lador and held a meeting in Ghari Panchyat, Jammu. The meeting was organized by Adiya Hans (Incharge Raipur-Domana YP) and meeting was chaired by state vice president Young Panthers, Partap Singh Jamwal and senior JKNPP leader and state secretary Shanker Singh Chib.
During the meeting, Partap Singh said that reorganization of J&K with establishment of twin state, Jammu state and Kashmir state as they existed before 1846 is the only way to end decades long discrimination with Jammu. " The reorganization of J&K on the basis of the culture, geographical, linguistic and political identity of each region with separate legislative assembly separate budgets, separate recruitments, separate PSC, separate planning commission and separate delimitation commission and of course separate CM, may be one governor and one high court will be in the interest of the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, " said Partap
Shanker Singh, state secretary JKNPP welcomed the dissolution of J&K Assembly by Governor, which was the highly genuine demand of the people of all the three regions of the state. Shanker Singh said that there has been no delimitation since 1996 when the mandate of the Constitution provides delimitation after gap of 10 years. Shanker Singh further said that justice shall be done to each region after state is reorganized. "Delimitation of assembly constituencies should be held without any delay in order to remove regional and political discrimination," he said. |
